Commitment to Digital Inclusivity
FoodHub is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply relevant accessibility standards.
1. Our Accessibility Commitment
Section 01 / 06FoodHub believes that extraordinary dining and online food ordering should be accessible to all customers, regardless of technological limitations, age, or disability. We are dedicated to providing a welcoming and barrier-free digital environment.
2. Conformance Standards (WCAG 2.1 AA)
Section 02 / 06The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. FoodHub strives to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards across all web and mobile web ordering flows.
Our brand palette conforms to strict contrast ratios exceeding 4.5:1 for body and heading text.
All interactive elements, modals, and cart actions are fully operable via keyboard navigation.
Semantic HTML, ARIA landmarks, and descriptive text alternatives are embedded throughout menu items.
Mobile touch targets meet or exceed minimum 48x48px boundaries for comfortable motor interaction.
3. Assistive Technology Compatibility
Section 03 / 06FoodHub is engineered to be compatible with standard operating system assistive technologies, including Apple VoiceOver, Google TalkBack, NVDA, JAWS, and native browser zooming up to 200% without loss of layout integrity.
4. Ongoing Audits & Enhancements
Section 04 / 06We conduct periodic automated and manual accessibility audits of our ordering funnel, restaurant locator, table booking, and profile dashboards. When issues are discovered, our engineering team prioritizes remediations in standard development sprints.
5. Physical Dining Accessibility
Section 05 / 06In addition to digital accessibility, our brick-and-mortar restaurant locations in Nashville feature step-free entrances, ADA-compliant wide aisles, braille menus upon request, wheelchair-accessible restrooms, and service animal accommodations.
6. Accessibility Feedback & Assistance
